Sunday Post #15: Home Stretch

Sunday Post is hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I have had a good 2 weeks. I think I am going to REALLY try to do these biweekly because for me one week is too short but 2 might just be perfect. I am currently visiting my boyfriend who live in a different province than I do. It's been a nice break. But these next few weeks are going to be killer at school but it's the home stretch until Christmas Break!

Review: Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham

I did really good these last 2 weeks. I am kind of cheating since I haven't finished Not That Kind of Girl but I only have like 30mins left on the audiobook and I will be finishing it today.

I have a long drive back from my boyfriends place, so I grabbed Escape on audio to listen to on the way.

Sunday Post #14: Happy Halloween

Sunday Post is hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I have been a shit blogger lately, I am blaming it on school. It's the best part of going to University, nobody ever questions you when you're busy. The slump was real but I am getting back in my groove. Besides that my life has been fun. Last night was out at a Halloween party, I was Minnie Mouse. Unfortunately no pictures to document the experience, but you can be assured I was a damn cute Minnie. If you dressed me up, let me know what you were below.

September & October in Review
Review: The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson

I am finally getting to my review books, the semester is has really been real. So far, so good though. I also picked up the audiobook of Afterworlds from the library and it's pretty good too.

Both were great. Review for A Beauty of Darkness is coming this week. Harry Potter is always amazing clearly. Let me know what you read this week.

Happy Halloween!

Sunday Post #13: Back to School

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reader. This is a place where you can talk about news from your week, what you've been reading and what you expect to come up on your blog. To join in, check out the rules here.

It's been awhile since I did a Sunday Post, my busy summer weekends have come to an end. I started school again this week, hopefully for the last time. It's my 6th year of university, and I am fully ready to be graduated now. I have had a hard time getting into the books I have been reading this last week, which is hard.

What I Am Listening To? - Favourite Songs
Review: Good As Gone by Amy Gentry

I am still very much stuck in the Fantasy genre, it's really the only thing I have been reaching for. I have also been slowly listening to The Princess Diaries series on audio, I just picked up the next one. These are fun and nostalgic.

This is kind of cheating because I actually DNF'd, The Lie Tree. I just wasn't in the mood for it when I tried to read it. Maybe another day I will try again, there are lots of good reviews for it out there. I also finished listening to A Gathering of Shadows, which is awesome! I love this series.

That's all from me this week. I have been stuck in a blogging and reading rut lately. Hoping that it will pass soon. Let me know how your week went.

I have been busy getting my coach on this week. My boyfriend also came to visit me this weekend and we went on a really long hike. I have been busy a lot lately and haven't been reading or blogging as much as I anticipated. Next week however, is a new week. I also have been playing a lot of The Sims 4, I have a problem....

Comic Series That I'm Currently Reading
Short & Sweet Reviews: Graphic Novel Edition #5

This summer is becoming the summer of sequels for me. I haven't had much time to read this weekend but I read about 70 pages during my first sitting. The plan is to finish it this week. I kind of forgot I was listening to Mini Shopaholic, I better get back into it.

I felt like I was reading this book for a long time! I really enjoyed it and my review will be up soon.

The Blogger Summer Reading Program is hosted by Reading With A Vengeance and Pretty Deadly Reviews. It's like the reading programs hosted by local libraries but instead we get to set out own goals. The BSRP runs through the whole month of July and I'll be updating every Sunday!

Week 1 Progress:
Read 4 Novels:
1) The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson

Read 2 Graphic Novels:
----

So far, so good. I read one full novel, my goal essentially plays down to one book a week which at this moment is very doable. Wish me luck.

Let me know how your reading week went! See y'all next week.

Sunday Post #10 - Late Night Posting

I haven't done a Sunday Post in months! I love these posts, and wrapping up the week behind me. This week I have been getting my life back on track for the summer. Reading was a struggle this week and I DNF'd a book. I am starting work this week but my job give me plenty of time to read so hopefully it's not the beginning of a slump. It's likely just from watching too much Orange is The New Black...

I am really enjoying The Heart if Betrayal so far and it was exactly what I wanted to read. I am about to start The Infinite Sea on audio in the morning so I am including.  How was your week in reading this week? Let me know.

Sunday Post #7 - Is 2015 Over Yet?

It's been another hard week in my life. My doggie, Bones, died this week which absolutely broke my heart. He was 14 years old but it's always hard no matter how old. So I may or may not have gotten behind in my reading. Oh well, I'm not putting pressure on myself to read right now. I don't want to make something I love to do stressful.
